“Young guns” is a furious flag football team in Edmonton who compete in fourth division along with the “chargers”.   The team found its existence in 2003 and immediately joined the “Flag Football Edmonton Club” to promote and spread the culture of flag football game across the world. The team consists of totally new players to the EFFA league, all drafted and signed to the Young Guns this year. “It was unanimously agreed upon by the administration, scouting, and coaching staff that the Young Guns would not merely be a new team to the league, but would encompass the truest meaning of the words ‘new franchise’,” states owner and head coach J.R. Spear. The Young Guns scouting team scoured North America, analyzing and evaluating players from university and college leagues, as well as other professional leagues (CFL, NFL, etc), before presenting their top choices for players to the administration.
