Mike was trying to focus on his work.  This was his first real job. He had really enjoyed the training process of becoming a PHP developer because he thought of it as participating in some kind of secret language or cracking a code.  He didn’t want to let his supervisor down because this web page design project was a personal favorite of his.  Still the noise from the next office was becoming disturbing.  He fixed his eyes to the computer screen and tried to think of everything he could that was solely related to PHP, such as its creation in the late 1990’s to its usage on over a million web servers, not to mention the tens of millions web pages that used it.  That helped his focus a little, but he still wondered what kind of  noisy excitement like that would be possible in this type of  computer business.
